Hey Parsec team! I wanted to share some info that took me hours to configure. To be exact it took 2 days! Parsec needs better remapping options. You should be able to invert both right and left sticks y axis for more compatibility with games i.e old games and even players! This will get rid of more third party programs you have to use with parsec to make the controller work the way you want it too. Little request, big outcome. For a better explanation, older first-person games on N64 used the best layout at the time from the best selling game which was Turok. For the most part older games had an awkward layout with c buttons and analog; analog being the look and c buttons being the movement and preset inverted looking for the analog, making it impossible for any modern gamer to even try and pick up old games like this on an emulator . To fix this I switch my c buttons to my left stick, then analog to right stick, now the only problem is the inverted looking. To get around this I looked around for a program that would do this for me, but to no avail no programs worked with project 64 game files. I luckily stumbled upon a youtube video of someone using a configuration tool they didn't even know was a hidden gem, I immediately started digging looking for this, It was a configuration board the program didn't use anymore because they used newer more controller compatible boards. I found it and its called jabo 1.7. It let me change my input for the analog y-axis. I had to add it in using .dll files in the plugins. With my original solution adding this option to remapping on parsec you can have anyone play any game with full comfort. Even the people who play inverted will thank you. Thanks for taking the time in reading this! I look forward to the progression of Parsec!
