Ubuntu/Linux host functionality
The ability to connect TO Ubuntu/Linux systems would be awesome.
Hello would be good if Parsec could add some Lobby Codes you can copy (having an expiration, max amount of users) just like Discord Invites. Thanks.
Native keyboard to controller mapping
The biggest problem that im having right now is that most of my friends doesn't have a controller, so im limited to play only with one friend using a keyboard or two in certain games that allow split keyboard. It would be amazing if Parsec had an option that allow the client to use its keyboard inputs that will be picked up and converted to a virtual controller input on the host end. Also the client would be able to chose with keys will correspond to button presses. I know that you can emulate a controller from a keyboard using other programs but it was way too hard and not intuitive for some of my friends to understand. It would be great if Parsec had one built in its settings. Also thanks for this game changing programs(pun intended)
Offline, Direct connect for Lan
This would allow streaming when internet is down between peers on a local network
Chromecast support in the app
It would be awesome if you could stream from the app to a tv via chromecast (just watching wihout playing even)
Add "userless" mode to service
This would allow a user to connect to the host machine before anyone has logged in on the machine yet. This is helpful if you have to restart your PC remotely and still need to use it after the restart. Obviously there is security concerns with enabling this. There should be an option to enable this in the settings. It should be off by default. There should also be some extra layer of security before you can successfully start streaming. This could be: Requiring a second entry of your password, or some sort of 2-factor authentication.
Raspberry Pi 4 Support
With support for H.265 and full 10/1000 gigabit ethernet, the new Pi should be the best thin client for Parsec yet.
Provide option to disable remote mouse completely
Certain games / programs do not like the mouse input via Parsec and have significant sensitivity problems, even to the point that different parts of the game or program react differently. I would like an option that on the host machine we can disable the remote mouse completely, e.g. not just disable input from a particular client but actually don't even allow it for anyone. Currently disabling it for a connected user does not release the mouse pointer which is the issue as the pointer stays stationary while the host proper pointer is invisible. Allowing this option would mean that the mouse pointer is not captured by Parsec and would be free for the host or another method of control to see and use the pointer as normal.
Multiple monitors at the same time
Hey. I see you have added the ability to choose which monitor to stream before you connect.. Which is useful However this isn't practical if you want to view the content of 2 monitors at the remote location simultaneously. Would it be possible to consider adding the ability to stream 2 display signals at once? Or allow hot switching. The quality and features of the remote tool are awesome but its cumbersome to have to connect/ disconnect each time want to view a different screen. : )
