True PWA (Web) Client
Jeb Eldridge
With PWAs (Progressive Web Apps) gaining ground in the development world due to it's true cross-platform nature and compatibility with virtually all platforms, bringing Parsec to the world as a PWA would make installation and setup (for clients at the very least) quick and easy on any platform.
In addition, PWAs can be converted to "trusted" 'native' apps for nearly all these platforms to offer in their respective app stores, making PWAs easily scalable to large audiences.

Can we not say this is a legitimate issue now?

I really need to take the time to look into pwa I know almost nothing about it yet.

BetaLeaf: thank you for the support! :)
Definitely read up on it!

Jeb Eldridge: dw I will

Jeb Eldridge Finally got around to playing with it for a few minutes. I can build an app and sideload it into Windows, but the Parsec Daemon isn't being detected and Experimental Web Player didn't seem to work. Additionally, the background for the sign in page was missing. There is definitely potential here for the Experimental Web Client (once it is less experimental).
In reality though, Parsec is already using Electron, which is damn good at what it does. The only real benefit for PWAs for Parsec would be for IOS support, but even then, it would probably be better to code something in Swift.
With that said, it doesn't seem to make sense for the Parsec Team to waste time rewriting their website to work with PWAs.
Thoughts?
Jeb Eldridge
I think it does make sense. Bringing Parsec to be a PWA brings compatibility to everyone, and not just a select few.

Companies like Microsoft also make development of PWAs really easy :)
