it is ridiculous that it isn't a thing

Not having iOS support is ridiculous and intentional. Blaming Apple is just an excuse, Parsec fits perfectly in the AppStore guidelines. SteamLink, Moonlight, Rainway, JumpDesktop, Teamviewer and many other apps prove this is Parsec hiding the real reason for ignoring such a big platform.

IpadOS supports keyboard and mouse so why can't it have its own client?
Keller Jonas
Please tell me that Parsec is at work on this. IpadOS even supports controllers now!

So?
Wohlf_craft
I don't think it's possible, Apple removes stuff like this from the App store.
Ryan Hendrickson
Wohlf_craft: What about things like Remote Desktop? This is very similar, is it not?
Wohlf_craft
Ryan Hendrickson: I think this is because it's targeted for "games" and plus this is a real-time live connection, sometimes Remote Desktop depending on what you are using it on spins up a whole new instance. This is live I think, (redacted), or (redacted)
Raffaele Walter Donadono
Wohlf_craft: but is it a guess or is it because they have already tried to submit?
Wohlf_craft
Raffaele Walter Donadono: uhh, it's against TOS I think so tried it or not I dont think you can do it.
Lorenzo Rizzotti
Wohlf_craft: this isn't against the apple's TOS is possible to create a remote gaming app

Charge 2.99 for Parsec on iOS.... Or make it Free with Controller support for $2.99. Funding problem solved... this needs to be on iPhones, iPads, and Apple TVs. New iPhones have Wifi 6, and on a network like this, the latency is not noticeable at all. Come on, Parsec team, take my money!

It might be possible to build an IOS app with PWAs. https://parsec.canny.io/feedback/p/true-pwa-web-client
As far as cost, they can avoid paying Apple for store access by just sideloading the app. Sideloading isn't perfect, but it is better than nothing at all.
Chris Chiu
I don't think the Parsec team can afford putting an IOS app on the App Store as it is more expensive then Play Store
Lorenzo Rizzotti
Chris Chiu: 100$ charged yearly is not to much, just ask for $ 2.99 for the app and they could finance it
Christopher Wawak
Still really interested in this!
